Job Description:
  • This position is responsible for working with Collect and analyze business requirements from Business Users and Business analysts.
  • Design the application for the given requirements, create proof of concepts and create database tables, prototypes.
  • Develop the application based on the proto type and design using VStudio 2012, SQL Server and Windows Azure.
  • Monitor system development completion and perform code reviews.
  • Unit test the application developed. Co-ordinate with QA on application testing.
  • Fix defect and conduct regression testing.
  • Primary worksite is Northbrook, ILbut relocation possible.
Required:
  • Master degree in Computer Science or Applications with 10 months experience as System Analyst or Technology Lead or Consultant.
  • Related exp must include using VStudio 2012 and Windows Azure.
  • Work with business partners within one business function to align technology solutions with business strategies.
  • Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specifications (with minimal senior business analyst oversight through peer reviews).
  • Demonstrate an expertise in the business unit being supported, as well as an understanding of the IT organization's systems and capabilities in order to participate in project activities and research requests on an ongoing basis.
  • Obtain consensus by facilitating communication between business unit's) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation. From a project perspective, owns the entire DM and ensure it is implemented based on customer needs.
  • Provide input to estimates for project management and change management activities through analysis of requirements effort, resources, and technology.
  • Provide input for formulating and defining system solutions and objectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business processes.
